Luck is opportunity met with preparation.

The only thing we can really effect and have influence over is ourselves.  In the process of learning and improving myself I was preparing for something I didn’t even know was coming, the greatest idea of my life thus far!

The journey starts with me accepting personal life coaching from who I now know as our worlds premier life coach Mary Manin Morrissey.  With her guidance and as a student of her coaching program I was introduced to many fantastic concepts, ideas and people.  One of the major ideas was masterminding which I now refer to as my masterMYnd.  Gathering a small group of like minded individuals with a fixed purpose to give and help each other is astonishing.

In May of 2008 our masterMYnd had its very first face to face meeting as a group.  A unique and seemingly trivial sequence of events gave birth and inspiration to what you will learn is a powerful and extremely helpful business.  An individual of our group was facing a 5 figure financial woe that was coming due in the matter of days and this was quite obviously effecting their demeanor.  Another partner in this masterMYnd suggested they write on a blank piece of yellow note paper a check, who it is to, in the right amount and release it!  I couldn’t believe the change that took place within that individual after performing these steps.  I was inspired with an idea to send checks to people much like the website www.thesecret.tv allows any person to download a blank check from the universe and right their own check but I wanted to do this for people and introduce them to this amazing transformation.

After a few days maybe a week of kicking this idea around I became aware of many more ideas.  The key, I learned, was me becoming more and not just more in general but more aware.  That seed of an idea which I must say is still a prominent business idea in itself gave way to a flood of ideas.  I then needed some way of tracking my ideas which gave me an idea!  It was mind blowing how the ideas flowed to and through me.  Now I am a relatively technically savvy guy but there was nothing out there to help me track and manage ideas I came up with.  Apparently as I asked around and shared this idea a lot of people were faced with the same thing.

My masterMYnd built a picture for me of sharing and collaborating on ideas.  Then they said what if Mary could see and help you with those ideas.  Things began to unravel fast!  What if I could provide coaches a system to help them to really understand their students desires and needs.  So I got to work dwelling on the idea and developing the system in my head.

That idea lead to managing the entire business of coaching, providing education, managing students, managing their own educational material all while providing their students tremendous value add through the standard systems on oneMYnd.  It was an amazing discovery!

Being a gen Y I am very comfortable with technology and I have seen and believe you can pretty much do anything with it.  I began this journey know very little about the true capabilities of what a website could do but I never wavered once on the belief that what I wanted couldn’t be done.  I was told quite often that the particular combination of systems that I wanted was a momentous feat and was going to cost millions of dollars, years of time and in some instances I was told it was too big for me to undertake.  Boy am I glad I listened to my masterMYnd, my coach and my SELF!

I initially started down this path with a programmer who was competent in his role but ultimately did not share in my vision.  This proecess was so vital for me and oneMYnd to go through.  It was a beautiful process of becoming, understanding and realization.

Today we are well into the programming and development of the site with a more than competent programmer who not only shares my vision for the system itself but for the company as a whole.  Soon you see short videos, pictures, and other media clips demonstrating the possibilities of what the oneMYnd system can do for you.

As I write I have shared 27 years on this earth and they have lead me to where I am now, on the path of Becoming the Authentic CEO.  I grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia, PA in a lower class to lower middle class home.  It wasnt until I was able to move out that my family hit the middle class society but by then I had aspirations of being great!

I graduated high school a year early and continued my education.  I was immediately accepted to Drexel University which I realized in only 6 months that it was NOT the place I wanted to be.  Deep within I had a desire to be more, do more and HAVE more and innately I knew that if the people teaching me to become great weren’t great themselves than could I really take their word?  I guessed not.

So I dropped out of college and worked as an intern for an engineering company in center city.  At 17 I was making $10 an hour!  That was more than most of my friends especially considering most of them were still in their senior year.  After some time passed I was introduced to network marketing which I later learned had some pretty negative connotations like MLM, pyramid schemes and many more classics.  Rather than listen I decided to learn more and understand for myself.  After gaining the perspective I needed I made my decision to leave the work place.  A co-worker said to me, “You’ll be back, its only a matter of time.”  Right then and there I realized I could never go back so I gave the old MLM a go.

The training, exposure, dream building, opportunity and much more a credible network marketing company provide are truly life changing!  So I had generated a small,  livable income but the true value and lifelong experience was priceless.  As a matter of fact the personal skills I was able to hone and develop through that experience in network marketing lead me to a big leap in my career and still help me every day.

After applying and being denied 4 times to be a salesman with a specialty finance company I finally got a job as an intern at 21 years old.  I quickly worked my way up to top salesman in the  company and eventually became Vice President of the National Finance Group within the company.  At 25 making a good living in the job world and having a great life I was guided to be, do and have more.

A friend told me about this guy Bob Proctor and some lady Mary Manin Morrissey and said they were having a seminar in my area, which was Los Angeles at the time.  I had nothing better to do and was curious of what I could learn so I went.  That single seminar started and upward spiral of becoming I had never even dreamt about before!

Mind you I have always been a student.  I may not be formerly educated but I have never stopped reading a self help book, going to personal growth seminars, attending workshops and improving myself.  Having Mary as a coach was the beginning of a new life and my life at the time was great so imagine whats coming now!
